The Chilean startup Envíame arrives in Colombia to offer solutions to the country’s electronic commerce. Its multicourier platform is based on a logistics trend that was born in China to deliver millions of orders per day, and consists of better managing e-Commerce shipments through integration with multiple logistics operators in the same marketplace.
“We have come to change the paradigm of the last mile. Our technology allows retailers to connect directly with a portfolio of more than 13 logistics operators in Colombia through a single integration, with the aim of automating and centralizing last-mile shipments, thus solving e-Commerce problems on the hour. to send their orders”, said Ramon Mantilla, country manager of Envíame in Colombia.
It stands out that among the advantages of the logistics marketplace, in addition to centralizing shipments, is that of giving multiple shipping options to the buyer such as express/on demand deliveries, same day (same day), next day (next day), reverse logistics and collection (collection against delivery), among others.
“Currently in Colombia we have integrated 13 logistics operators (Coordinadora, Mercantil, Deprisa, 4-72 and Interrapidisimo, among others)) to our platform, and we hope to add more in the coming months. By the end of 2023 we expect to have a total of 20 operators. We are working to unify logistics in Colombia and form the largest logistics ecosystem in the country”, explained the executive.
“Multicourier is an ecommerce trend that also allows us to have greater coverage at the national level thanks to our logistics partners, and we have the full range of possible services for the last mile,” he added.

According to the Colombian Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CCCE), Colombia has had exponential growth and that is precisely what Envíame has focused on. “The situation of electronic commerce has led us to enter Colombia, because we know that logistics is a problem that many online stores need to solve,” Mantilla explained.
The executive also highlights that the growth of the last mile has been similar to that of e-commerce in 2022, and for this year the figures for this logistics sector are expected to be in double digits. “80% of ecommerce shipping traffic in Colombia is concentrated in a little less than 3% of the country’s municipalities. Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga and their metropolitan areas are the ones that concentrate the greatest shipment traffic,” explained Mantilla.
It should be noted that Envíame has more than 1,000 clients throughout the region, including companies such as Falabella, Linio, Cencosud, Entel and Kitchen Center, among others. Likewise, at the Latin American level Envíame integrates more than 150 logistics operators.
“A month we are delivering one million shipments throughout Latin America. We believe that Colombia will be one of the main markets where we will grow the most this year,” he said.
